Annual. 10-12 March 2004, entries by 15 January. To identify especially talented singers, aged 35 and under, in the early stages of their careers. Open to American and Canadian opera singers aged 35 and under who have performed at least one role with a professional company and are contracted for at least one more professional engagement. Contestants are required to perform four arias in contrasting styles and languages. Six prizes of $7500 and six of $1000. |
