London Bach Society has supported its orchestra since 1968 and the 40th anniversary of Steinitz Bach Players is celebrated at the LBS 18th Bachfest, which begins at London’s prestigious Wigmore Hall on Sunday 2 November at 7.30pm in a magnificent programme of Bach’s Weimar cantatas directed by Anthony Robson entitled “JSB at Heaven’s Castle” with soloists Gillian Keith, Michael Chance, Nathan Vale and Peter Harvey.

FLORILEGIUM PRESENT THREE PERFORMANCES OF THE MUSICAL OFFERING 27-31 OCTOBER

Florilegium’s Wigmore Hall concert season starts on Monday 27 October with a performance of JS Bach’s The Musical Offering. This concert will be repeated on Thursday 30 October (Nottingham) and Friday 31 October (Southampton).
