   LISA MILNE
Lisa Milne made her professional début with the Scottish Opera and her many roles with the company have included Adele "Die Fledermaus", Adina "L'Elisir d'Amore" and Susanna "Le nozze di Figaro", Ilia and Despina.

She has also appeared with the English National Opera (Aennchen, Morgana and Anne Trulove), the Welsh National Opera (Servilia), the Stuttgart Opera (Gretel), the Royal Danish Opera, Copenhagen (Ilia), and recently made her tremendous US opera debut at Dallas Opera as Marzelline in 'Fidelio'.

Her performances last season as Marzelline in "Fidelio" at the Glyndebourne Festival under Sir Simon Rattle were rapturously received and she has since returned there as Micaela in "Carmen" and in the title role of "Theodora".

She has given recitals at the Maggie Teyte Prizewinner's Concert at the Royal Opera House, Wigmore Hall, Aix-en-Provence and City of London Festivals. Her appearances at the Edinburgh Festival have included 'Idomeneo' and Handel's 'Messiah' with Sir Charles Mackerras and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, and MacMillan's 'Parthenogenesis' with the City of Birmingham Symphony.

Her extensive discography includes a solo disc of Hebridean Folk Songs which was received with tremendous critical acclaim. She has also recorded "Serenade to Music" by Vaughn Williams for Decca (with Norrington) and "Xerxes" for BMG (with McGegan).
