Very soon Akadêmia's reputation of excellency, innovation and flamboyance crossed the boundaries of the Region.

Thus the Ensemble has been regularly invited by prestigious French festivals such as Ambronay, La Chaise-Dieu, Auvers-sur-Oise, Lourdes, Le Festival d'Art sacré de Paris and many others. Its international fame has taken it all over Europe in places like Mainz (Germany), Cremona (Italy), Utrecht (Oude Musiek Festival-Holland), Brügge (Festival van Vlanderen-Belgium)...

Its repertoire and original interpretation have contributed to its evolution and the recognition of its work :

It chooses to perform major masterpieces such as such as Monteverdi's Vespers, Bach's B-minor Mass and Christmas Oratorio, Fauré's Requiem..., as well as lesser known works of Palestrina, Marenzio, Mehul, Martin and restitutions of Cavalli and Bouteiller.

Its performances are characterized by the vitality breathed into its music. In its approach Akadêmia combines musicologic work and impeccable pitch and taste with a feeling of freedom and a search for lush moving colors.
